We left about 5:45pm yesterday. I was so proud of myself. I packed very lightly for the kids and me and had all my errands done, everything in the car including cooler and snacks by the time Ryan got home from work. I even had the car washed, some pants altered, walked and played outside with the kids, and had the dog boarded! And believe it or not, my house was clean too. Amazing.
So we are here in Ohio at Ryan's Aunt Joyce's home. It's great b/c they have 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 2nd floor for us. The drive was pretty rough. Myles does not sleep well in the car so I'm hoping that we will all get some good naps today. We didn't arrive until 2am. I held Myles for the last 30 minutes. He had a hard time. I had a hard time. Glad to be here now.
Why are we here?
Ryan's Uncle Harry passed away on Monday evening. He was such a great man. He left behind 2 sons and we are here for them. The viewing is tonight from 5-8pm and the funeral is tomorrow morning.
Good News...
We get to go to Columbus. I'm so excited. I really miss our friends there. I've been thinking so much of my friend, Chrissie. She is pregnant with her first child and I can't wait to see her. She was around for me when I was pregnant with Molly and now I get to see her. I heard she's having a girl too! She has to be the most authentic and sweet person I know. Really do miss her.

i am sort of secretly happy we ditched the fake names, i was afraid i would slip up and use your name and the whole thing would be ruined. love twirly dresses and yes every girl needs him. so sorry about ryan's uncle but glad you get to see old friends. that always makes things better. yeah are you pulling a Britany, Annie likes to call it riding "Hollywood style"!
